Unhappy More Exhaust Questions- Please HELP- C230 Komp SEDAN

Hello All,
I'm a newbbie. I am wanted to change my exhaust, and this afternoon almost ordered the C32 AMG exahust from AutoClass, they told me it should fit my car just fine. Before I do this I called my Benz dealer in town and was going to check with the parts guy to see if I can buy it from them for cheaper or at least don't pay the shipping...just to find out the parts guy telling he didn't think the C32 exhaust wouldn't fit on my car?!!!

1. Bottom line, has anyone done this successfully? any comments recomendations I appreciate it.

2. For the price, looks, and I'm thinking AMG quality is the best value (of course if it fits), now if noen whats the next best value?! I was thinking the Brabus but I read on Forum that will set me back about $1400~$1600 way over my budget, the C32 mufler is only 650.

Thanks for your help in advance!

if 650 is your budget i would get eisenman....that exhaust will be within your budget for sure..... but i still like Brabus and i think you can get a better deal then 1400 trust me you can just order the muffler no pipe.

Lesson 1: only believe in 30% (or less) from anyone working for MB. They dont know what they're doing for most of the time.

I have seen regular Cs with C32 exhaust, so its possible. Plus I think Autoclass knows what they're selling. Whats the point of selling you something but you have to return it 2 weeks later? Brabus definitely has a better "roaring" sound than the AMG, but it also has a more "roaring" price. The full cat back is less than $1300 and the muffler only is less than $1000. Eisenmann is also a good choice too. But if AMG is what you want, dont think of anything else. You'll be ok.

dont go with AMG!! Brabus is not too expensive..... the exhaust retails for $935 (muffler & tips), the exhaust with resonator retails for $1365. i could hook you up for AT LEAST 10% off those prices..... so if you are interested.... you could email me.

C230 Komp Sedan - 2003
First thanks alot guys for giving me feedback, I really apreciate it.

This weekend I went down to the Benz dealer and they had a C32 in the showroom (Yummy ) so i just went under the car and looked at the exhaust where it bolts on.... and it looks quite different than my C230 and all the other ones (even the 320, and one thing I noticed the 230, 240, and 320 are all very similar) ?! So I'm thinking to scratch that idea almost and go with either Brabus or Eisenmann.

CarlssonCRS I will check with my wife to see what vital organ body parts I will loose if I spend more than a G on my exhaust, and if its not too bad I will get in touch with you! Thanx

One more thing. Now that I'm thinking not AMG then what do you guys think obout Lorinser?

Also for any exhaust I'm assuming I have to buy the back skirt?! Hope thats not too much?

Thanks

Exhaust

You can get a complete cat-back system from RENNtech for about $900.00. The muffler runs about $650.00.

I will be going with the cat-back system soon myself. The installation should be relatively easy.

Thanx again for more feedback on questions. This is little bit off track but I thought its interesting: Has anyone seen these pictures, I found them on the MB world web page. The exhaust looks really nice I wonder if its real or just a CG thing. If its real (like if they have it in Euro) I wonder if you could order it?! just a thought

brabus is definately a sure thing... but if you wanna go with lorinser and you want the left and right exhaust.... that is pretty expensive.... i was gonna buy that before, cost over 2Gs..... i would probably still go with the brabus over the eisenmann because the brabus is only a couple hundred bucks more expensive.... and brabus is the top modifier for mercedes.

and the most ridiculously expensive it's not even funny anymore. Most of their stuff is made by another company anyway.

Looks almost like the exhaust tip from C7 package, maybe they use the same one in the Euro-Only sport-package.

C230 Komp Sedan - 2003
Hey everyone,
I'm almost going to go with Brabus probably just the muffler (for $9XX.00); I called them yesterday, the stupid thing is that they sell their thier back bumper for like over $1000.00?! Couldn't they just make a skirt?! Now if i got the exhaust would I need their bumper too?! I'm thinking just freaking cut my stock skirt I'm soo confused to what to get at the same time I can't sleep knowing I got the freaking stock muffler on there!!!! I'm going to orange county next week so I'm just gonna go to the freakin Brabus and check out their stuff.... The guy told me they don't have a c230 Komp Sedan on their show room but have other C's .... i hope i can take some pictures and share with everyone

if you want a quad exhaust.... renntech makes one and you can have one custom made. BUT if you go with brabus exhaust i think you should stick to brabus kit as well. if you dont want to spend too much on the kit, you can get a replica.... looks just as good. ofcourse the replica is made from fibreglass whereas the original is made from PUR. but... we recently ordered the brabus kit for a new clk w209 and it was fibreglass!! i think they are slackin in quality now!

C230 Komp Sedan - 2003
Hey yall!
Sorry to awaking this dead thread once again...but i got good reasons!!!

Alright so I went to freakin california and went to the freakin Brabus!!! Man its just mouth watering...i saw a CLK that I could barely fit my finger through between the tire and the fender (now thats a drop!)...they had an SL with theri V12 in it ...yummy! alright .....so what about my car the W203 2003 Komp Sedan ....They don't have an exhaust for it yet!!! i repeat:

THEY TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T FIT THE W203 FROM C240 AND C320 ON THE C230 KOMP SEDAN! The dude was nice and unlike MB dudes was knowledgable and seem to know what was he talking about ...he said they should have something for my car by the end of the summer....they do the cat-back exhaust and the pully kit with installl all for $3000 which is lot of money but i don't know if you are out there i think its kind of worth it...if you just wanna take your car in and take it out no hassel.....

anyway i don't have the cash nor i'm callifornia....and most importatly i can't wait unitl end of the summer for a exhaust...so....i think i'm gonna go with either super sprint or Remus... and if i'm correct these are not cat back....there is a long thread on both of these with pics...main thing they are cheap about $500....
so once again...sorry to go through this topic for the millionth time...but between super sprint and Remus which way you all think its the best... (also considered Esienman or however its spelled)...

ok since you all had to read through my painfull post...i have a something...while i was out in cali...i got to drive a freakin CL55 AMG 498 hp 516 lb-ft of torque ....damn the thing flies...its heavy but it don't matter....i pulled up next to a mustang... and a camero..and f*&k no they wouldn't have it...its like feakin the sound...is freaking intimitading....i don't know after drivin that thing...my thought of chaning the pully to gain at best 20 hp ...was cleared for couple of weeks...enough talking here is the pic of me in the freaking thing:
