I'm wondering about this also. I got my windshield replaced about 3 years ago and now the sensitivity is out of wack. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't...

I don't believe that the sensitivity can be adjusted. I remember reading on the thread, 'what do you hate most about your w203' that many ppl were complaining about this.

I would love to have this function, however, mine are way too sensitive.

Sensitivity can be adjusted with a STAR diagnostic system.

It seems like pretty much everything on these cars is adjustable with the SDS, down to the pinch sensors on the windows/sunroof. It's crazy (in a good way).

My '06 is wacky too. If it just starts to mist a little the wipers go full tilt if you are moving or very slow intermitent when standing still. Drives me nuts!

2000 Mercedes CLK 320
Hey I bought a 2000 clk320 a while ago and the rain sensor seems like the past owner tried to fix it by just glueing it back to the window. Any suggestions on how I can fix it? or what I can use to reattach it to the window?

I went to dealership and they weren't charge anything for adjusting sensitivity.

Done this before for my 01 c320 and it works great on San Francisco foggy and drizzle days.

It's just more to break. It's a nice feature, but as I inch towards 150k, and the all-important 250k km grille badge , I get more paranoid about the complexity of this car that's probably not worth all that much in real terms.
