Great forums here!
Been seaching here for a bit, and recently registered after picking up my new to me MB.
Solid and smooth car, just changed the cabin filter and checked the engine filters, coolant and oil, which were all good.
Body and paint is ok overall, but engine and suspension are very good.
I'll have to take a video of couple of things to trouble shoot:
1. There a pulley that occasionally chirps slightly.
(i think I read about common problem of one failing)
2. I sometimes get this other weird sound at a stop, either in drive or in park.
From inside the car, it sounds like there is someone in the trunk knocking to get out! The wifey freaked out!
I also heard it today from outside, and the knocking comes from somewhere near the rear passenger side wheel area.
Just washed, clay bared, washed, and waxed:

Looks like my car before my 07 rims. The sound of someone knocking in your trunk is the gas measurement float things.. it's normal. My car has always done it, I just tell people it's my resident hostage at this point.
