Bought Rear Brake Disc online
Hey guys
I purchased rear brake discs for my car back in April.
The website (Car Parts Wholesale) had them listed for my C230 Kompressor 2005 with Sport Package.
Now, that I am Finally bringing it in to get the brake job, I am thinking that they are not the right ones.
The box says E Class 94 to 02 and CLK Class 98 to 08
Floating type, 5X4.41 i
NOT C Class 2005 lol
Anybody know anything about this?
Btw, I got a quote from a local place called Brake World for $210 to install them with new pads. Does that sound reasonable? I know the dealer wanted $480 for rotors/pads and installation. All I wanted to do was save some money

The description doesn't sound right. Try to send them back and get the right parts at http://www.rmeuropean.com/.

That appears to be part #210-423-10-12, which is the rear rotor for the CLK350 Sport AND the C230K Sport 2005-2007. It's only important to compare part numbers since a lot of parts are used across different models. That's the right part you have from what I can tell. Remember the 209 and 203 are VERY similar mechanically.

Its been to the dealer plenty of times and they have said in the past that I need new ones soon, so I waited about 2 years
I can never believe a word they say. Also, I got a really good deal on the rear rotors, it wound up being less than $50 for both.I replaced my front rotors and pads almost 2 years ago. I have almost 90,000 miles on my car, so I figure its time for the rears cause I will have to do it sooner or later.

Does anybody know if these rotors will fit my Front brakes?
I have the 2005 C230 Kompressor with Sport Package.
The website has some rotors listed in the "fit note" that say "w/Sport package, or AMG package"
This does not.
I thought that the Cross drilled/slotted/dimpled front rotors were only for Sport Package Big Brakes?
If they fit, its a Hell of a Deal, cause its 2 Front Rotors for $56.59
And I just spent $180 for EACH yesterday :

I'm not sure. They LOOK correct, but it says diameter 11.3". My 05 C230's front rotors were 12.8" as measured by me. That's a big difference. Spend a little more and go to RMEuropean.com and get some BALO front rotors. I'm at 66k miles on the BALO front rotors on my car no issues.

I don't think they are. The page doesn't mention "sport" and the price is in the ball park of other places that are selling "non-sport" front discs. Usually they seem to be undrilled (although these are slotted and dimpled). As LILBENZ noted, they seem to be smaller in diameter which also makes it seem like the "non-sport" variety. rmeuropean is the best place IMHO. They MIGHT be a little cheaper somewhere else, but their service is excellent and they have good descriptions so I have more confidence in my purchase. Also for orders over $65, shipping is free (and brake discs are heavy!)
