haha, she never said she was doing the mods herself...

Lol, honestly she could post about adding hello kitty stickers on her rear windshield and it would still get 100+ pages of posts around here.

Hey man don't be a hater! It was disgustingly hot outside and I needed the garage door open to work on the car. no joke. Mind as well work on a tan at the same time right?

Oh give me a break.. can't girls work on cars too?
Yes someone was working on it with me, but it's my car and I did most of the work. Even if I didn't have someone to work on the car with I'd be doing it on my own. It's not rocket science. Having help probably sped up the process though! And reduced the chance of scratching the bod for sure!

On another topic, did I mention how much I love these silly smilie things? --> lol..

Thanks! Feel free to gimme a shout.

The lip plows snow for sure especially if you're lowered. I had a replica before but didn't like the fact it wasn't real so I picked up an authentic one later. Still have the rep sitting in storage if you're interested.

Hey thanks! Lol I go to Calgary every so often so if I ever see your car, I'll know it belongs to that Infected guy... (wait that didn't sound right.) lol... I'm definitely considering the lip so thanks for letting me know.

Question, what winter tires/rims are you using and what would you recommend? I'm looking at reviews on tirerack but since you are driving the same car in the same conditions I thought I'd ask. Unless you're using a different car in the winter?

I've just been using Blizzak LM's on stock rims during winter in the past. Don't think I'll be driving the Coupe in the winter anymore however but not because it can't handle snow.

Give me a shout the next time you're in town and feel like meeting up to grab a coffee and chill. Hope you'll be driving the Coupe though...

I fly into Edmonton sevaral times a month. To bad my airline puts our crews down by the airport in Leduc. I hear downtown Edmonton is great...at least in the summer. I can't stand the Edmonton winters. Did I mention all those mosquitos this year?

lol nice! So you never actually venture into the city and you're in the vicinity several times a month??? The city has grown so much that it's actually pretty close to the airport. I live deep south so from my house its 15 minutes to the airport! yeah mosquitos have been a nuisance this year.. one evening while I was out I swear I got 8 mosquito bites on one buttcheek. ONE CHEEK. not even kidding.. lol

I went to Vegas last year once for work and I'm going again in a couple months for work :p well work and some play I hope. I met Mini-Me last time.. and a bunch of NFL players too but I'm not really into American football so it wasn't a big deal to me. Got to play poker with a couple of them.. lol

OK so I have a question in regards to the '05 Fogs and the clear side markers.

I was searching allll over the forums tonight. Can someone please help me clarify? For the clear side markers, which year and which car model am I looking for if I'm searching for this part? Do the side markers for the w203 sedans fit the coupe as well? Is there a recommended site to buy this part from or is it cheap enough that I can just order from the dealership?

And Fogs.. I rarely use my foglights but I'm considering upgrading to the '05 model. What's the major diff between the current ones I have and the newer one? I was looking at pics and they seem to look similar. Worth swapping out if I don't really use my fogs at all?

Cheers

All you need to do is replace the lenses. (Fogs)
Here in the states they're only about 15-20 each online.
Paint the inside of the housing silver (it's white normally)
snap off clips, remove frosties replace with clears!
Put in some better bulbs, I have Philips Crystal visions, but a lot of folks put in Xenon kits (overkill!)
I bought my clear side on ebay, all w203 are the same ,coupe, sedan etc.

clear side markers are the same for all Ccoupe years. I don't believe the sedan one fits the coupe, but I might be wrong. you can get the clear side markers on ebay for cheap. you can probably get them from accessories dept of the dealership, but they might rape you on price. i'd go with ebay the best.

the only difference between the fog lights are the clear lens vs foggy lens. other than that there's no difference in functionality.

NICE CAR BTW.
Right by where I work, I always see a blue c230k as well, It's got nothing on yours though!

And thanks for the info! Ordered the clear side markers on ebay so they'll be on the way. You were saying the clear fog light housing is only $15-20 each? is this from the dealership?? I tried searching online, could only find the whole foglight unit. Can you link me?

most likely if you are getting a error it could be a simple fix like replacing the bulb or it can be somewhat of a hassle that need to replace the balast.
Drove to work today with one headlight not working again! Drove me nuts!
The bulb is pretty new so I wouldn't think it would need replacing unless I got a faulty one. Once I got home, I took the bulb off and then put everything back together. Started the car 4 times in a row after and every time both lights turn on! Hopefully it stays that way though!!
