2002 Mercedes Benz C230 Coupe
Steel rims look like **** on any car...especially the coupe. Just looks really cheap...use your stock rims as your winters and get some bigger rims/fatter rims next summer.
For the foglight issue...yeah i would totally just get the lens and replace it. Here check this out...clear lens for about 20 bucks a side. It does impact the light dispersion a little bit, but nothing significant enough to cause major issues.

BTW my Bix deal fell through..turned out to be CLK biX...FML

Sucks about those headlights.
SG - while I agree with jcn, if you have tires already, might be a good idea to pick up a set of cheap alloys. I had steelies for a couple of winters here, and they really rusted up very quickly, so it would be even worse in the land of moose and elk.

I'm tellin' you guys;
When Blake and I swapped lights,
his fogs on his 2004 were IDENTICAL to mine, minus the fact that I sprayed the white plastic part silver,
and his came from the FACTORY like that as part of the Bix package.
The are INDENTIICAL except the lenses.
In 2005 they added the AMG styling, and replaced the whole assembly with an updated one,
but you don't need that!
Seriously, just change the fk'in lenses!
I already posted the pn's didn't I?

I wouldn't doubt it's pretty much the same, but the dealership won't send that specific part to me and neither will Steve from mbenzl. They are only selling the whole unit. Parts.com and mymercedesparts.com don't ship to canada.. still looking for a reliable site with reasonable shipping to buy from.
Can someone tell me if this is the correct part?

I'd think that any cheap alloy wheels from a reasonable company would be fine.
Just have a friend in the US order the fog lenses, and ship them to you. That's the easiest way out of this.

Judging by the response to her pic, I would think there would be quite a queue already.
But honestly, I'd have no problem doing it if she needed it. It's what, 10 minutes out of someone's life to help her out?

Hey thanks for the suggestions guys! I've decided to use my OEM rims for winter and I'll get a nice new shiny set of wheels in the summer.
Tommy! Is this offer still available? mymercedesparts has all the remaining parts i'm looking for but they only ship to the US.... Let me know if you could do this for me and I'll be forever indebted to you
lol with the amount of money I'd be spending on gas it wouldn't be worth it I don't think? It would be a 10 hr + drive.
