Ok, I was on my way back from north Georgia yesterday and forgot to watch the odometer as well as I should have. Honestly, I don't think my wife would have let me pull over anyway to take a picture.
However, my little Coupe has passed the 155K mark. Other than being in dire need of a good cleaning it is doing great. Everything still works and overall is in good shape. Eventually I think I will total up what's been done to it over the 155K life, since I have every shop visit's tickets in a folder.

Very nice! Just goes to show that Mercedes as still just as reliable as then once were (with proper maintenance that is). I hope all of us are lucky enough to have our cars reach this milestone.
Well see you back here at 200K =P

Fixing the little things as they happen is not the only key to longevity for vehicles. It is, however, the key to making an aging car still desirable to drive and own.

I laugh that everyone says that a Mercedes is so expensive to maintain. My car is in fantastic shape for 167k and is cheaper to run then most any car out there. My insurance is cheap, Gas bill is cheap, Tax is dirt cheap, Maintenance is an oil change once a year for say $100, Tires are same price as any car would be. So I don't really get it in the almost 5 years I have had my Mercedes I would say it has been an extremely cheap car to own. Well if you take out the dam crap I keep buying for it like winter tires/rims, nav unit, a star system, new fuel door, new fog lights (soon), The bix, the spoiler lol but that does not count. If I get some time I will have to add up all costs and see how much a year cost me on average not counting gas, tax or insurance.

I spend some time in the twisties every day on my way home! Trey, I agree.. my car has been the cheapest to maintain of any car I've owned before.
