Hi,

I need to desperately find out the exact location of where the fuel filter is located on the following Mercedes Benz model. (Please keep in mind that it is a diesel engine)

Mercedes Benz (2007 Model C220 CDI – Diesel Engine, Avantgarde Sedan)

I case your fuel filter has the removal of water facility on the top I have attached the instructions of how to drain it .The photo is not too clear but there is a black plastic round screw plug that can be loosened to drain the filter when starting the fuel pump located in the fuel tank.Push a plastic pipe on to the nipple & place the end into a glass bottle. Turn on the ignition for the pump to operate.

JC across 202, 203 & 210 some cars have a spin on diesel filter & others have a cartridge filter in housing with water drain. Greatkid's car might have the spin on. Just so he does not get confused.
