Inquired similarly at our local Penske GMC dealership just today. Need mud flaps and a bed liner to forestall marring my new business truck.
Probably the only time I can recall the Mrs. being exceedingly patient while swapping tales in the parts department.
Goes without saying she’s hankering for a new(er) AMG.

I guess a forlorn hope that a new refrigerator might satisfy her

No Sven - I will get round to taking some. Just loving the car. Been through it with a fine tooth comb. All is well. Fixed two minor assembly faults. Dash cupholder facing fell off. Now assembled correctly with all 6 escutcheons hooked in. Drivers door jamb rubber moulding not fitted properly where it traps the roof liner. A little encouragement from a credit card & it's perfect.
I have not made up my mind on wheels yet. I've decided to wear out the tyres first. I spend my life tossing under half worn Conti's because I don't like them. One thing I've realised with the stock wheels is that they are easy to keep clean. At the moment I'm thinking of destaggering the car & putting 17 X 8.5 ET30's up front same as rear. I've put on quite a lot of mileage since I bought her just enjoying the car. The chassis sophistication amazes me. I did not realise Benz had put so much work into the CLK. Quiet, great firm handling, excellent damping & very stiff roll bars especially on the rear.
