Need a place to work on my car San Jose South bay

Well after surviving life with a trained attack blonde, and getting on my own,
my car is having problems and no longer do I have a garage.

My alternator light started coming on intermittently, and today like 6 times and dammit, i had it rebuilt
60K miles ago. And the starter is making a horrible grinding sound.

I've done both jobs already. I know how to do it.

I need to get under her, and see whats up.
Maybe a loose wire on the starter or alternator,
but I'm having problems with both at the same time.

Anyone know a place where I could do that? Indoors preferably.

Anyone know anything or have access to a place, it would be greatly appreciated.
I don't mind renting a space or whatever either, as long as it's ok to work on my car.

Well none of that matters if I can't get a place to do it.
But I will soon need a new head gasket, and it does occur to me that
simply swapping motors, and perhaps the entire drivetrain with stuff with less miles would be cool. I mean if I can buy a whole car for 1500 or something...ya know?
Why even bother tearing the engine apart.

Also I need a hatch, so hopefully it would be blue.

Can't do it in a rented storage?

Most have rules about that kind of thing, though I have seen people work out of a rented space before. The size would probably be pretty tight on a standard size; the times I've seen people working on their cars, it's been CRXes, and even then, it's been a tight fit.

Not to mention powering equipment, the mess, noise, heating or cooling, etc. Just would not be a fun place to work in. Better place would be a gas station that doesn't use its service bays fully anymore.

In some cities, you can rent a bay and work on your own vehicle. They do charge by the day so you better make sure you get in and out ASAP

Seriously? I can get the alternator out in a 1/2 hour.
Looks like you're filming a **** video with your former vehicle.

Well the next thing ya know ol' Blake's a Millionaire....
It's about 16 hours of labor I'm told, and I figured a couple weeks,
with time for the head to go to the machine shop.
But actually it can be done quicker and i have a mercedes mechanic to help me if
needed.
Anyone?
