Colder spark plugs for C200 W203 M271
Hello,
I heard that after changing kompressor pulley to smaller one it good to change spark plugs to one step colder.
I'm looking for NGK spark plugs.
Stock sparks can be replaced by ILFR6A (same heat level).
I cannot find proper colder sparks. Only what i've found are LFR7AIX.
Do you know proper sparks with 7 heat level for my car?
Cheers

Have yours shown the telltale signs of pre-ignition or porcelain overheating owing to increased boost?

NGK’s ILFR6A is an excellent spark plug (“sparks”).

Performance upgrades?
I realize that our cars are now older but I can't seem to find things that everyone was once talking about on here, i.e. s/c pulley, ecu upgrades (places that do it), exhaust, underdrive pulleys, etc.. Am I too late at trying to give my w203 some love? Thanks!

Well as for pulleys IDK much about them as they are useless for my car but I do know I saw some talk about how they are hard to find now as you have the last year for that engine in the USA and that was almost 9 years ago now. As for exhaust many have done magnaflow and custom work and headers can still be found from my understanding. ECU upgrade is easy many companies do that the big two I see on here are OEtunning and Eurocharged (what i have and love)

Thanks for the prompt response. This is helpful. I guess I'm not used to how things work in the higher-end car world. Usually for me, a car comes out and it takes a few years for the aftermarket to do all the research/tuning/dynoing then after about three years or so is when the market floods for that MY with all kinds of goodies and that usually remains for a good while. You would think that since these cars can last a while (because they are well-built) that that wouldn't die off for some time but, I guess when you put it that way nine years sounds like a long run...lol! it's just that for example I can still find many different headers configurations online for let's say a '97 Honda Civic VTEC (which is garbage compared to the potential hidden in the w203) but anyways... like I said... thanks!

Yeah in the higher end world your right the cool parts come out within a year and after 4 or 5 they have moved on to the newer models. Most people who own a w203 now are at least the second owners if not more and paid so little for the cars that the companies don't see a big enough market/ markup to make it worth there while to either keep making parts or develop parts. I also have noticed that as time has gone on the more boy racer crowd moves in and the community changes drastically. Its interesting to see as I have been a viewer of MBworld since 2005 or so I would say and then a member since 2007 and spend 95% of my time in the w203 section.
If I were you I would depending on miles do a suspension upgrade good shocks and springs or coils as well as an engine tune and maybe even thicker sways even though you should have the almost AMG bars which is what I have and think they are a good balance. And if you can find a pulley or something that would be good with the tune
