Hey guys,
My car is lowered on H&R coilovers and the shaking happened on both my stock 17 inch rims and my 19inch Mandrus Mannheims.
Like the title states, my car shakes when its moving. To be more exact, it feels as if its shaking from side to side. I can feel it when I'm just rolling along at 10-20mph and the shaking is amplified through my steering wheel and brake pedal when braking at higher speeds.
Coincidentally the shaking appeared 3 days after installing new wheel bearings, rotors and pads...
So far I've tried to tackle the problem by cleaning the wheel hub, replacing the inner tie rod ends and doing an alignment; however, the shaking still persist. I've also looked at the caliper to make sure it wasn't seizing/dragging.
If anyone has any advice that they could share, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Peter

if you have gotten an alignment, make sure its to mb specs. Check your bushing, lower control arm, endlinks, and any moving parts in the suspension. Make sure the wheel bearings are seated right, is there any noise or is is just vibration?
Thanks! I'll check out the things you said tomorrow, and as of right now there is no noise, just vibrations.
Make sure wheels are running true & are in balance. Make sure wheel bearings are tightened & torqued to spec.
It's been a couple of weeks and i have seemed to tackle the problem.. but now i have to fix something else!
Shaking car/steering wheel problem has lessened by changing inner tie rod but has not diminished yet.
Brake pedal vibration has been fixed by replacing rotor. The wobble from the tie-rod some how warped my rotors but fortunately I was able to replace them under warranty.
I feel a bit of shimmying in my steering wheel and my car still shakes a little bit.. So I'm taking it back into the shop this week.
Planning to replace my Front suspension - Upper Control Arms. Re-Balance my tires, and do another wheel alignment.
Here's the quote on parts/labour. Do these numbers seem fair?
Control Arms - $170 each
Labour - $100
Alignment - $90
Balance/Torquing - $40
Tax- $68.40
Total-$638.40
