That is a Mercedes Unimog here are some pics of the two that I had as a kid. Yes they are fXXking awesome I know. My dad and I use to race them around our farm and down through the creeks and up and down huge embankments lol. Those were awesome days sadly right before I got my permit my dad sold them

Unimog !! That must of been fun, Samiritay ! I have ridden in one too. Complete beast ! They have been used for numerous applications over the years, Pretty big following of them too. Google search and some cool sites dedicated to the Unimog pop up.

They have an attachment to do almost anything from mowing to snow plowing to railroad work. Sadly they are very expensive new and the used ones are either rust buckets or very expensive. Their axles are also used in many off road vehicles that people build up.

The wonderful & capable Unimog. Our fire departments are still using them in Cape Town. They will go just about anywhere. Last pic is the styling I liked the best.

A friend that owns a trucking company is a keen big-game fisherman & tows and launches his boat off of some of our desolate beaches with his Unimog. I've seen him tow 4 Land Rovers tied together with trailer & boat out of the surf. Very little stops a 'Mog.
