How do I turn off warnings
I have 3 warnings on in the message center. None of the are actual problems. One says light sensor drive to work shop
The other says tail lamp right back up light on (which it is not).
The last says that my right tail lamp is out, which it is not. The last two warnings came one when I ran over a giant pot hole on the freeway. I tried to change the light build but that did not fix it.

seems like your rear sam (computer) has either lost its programming or being fried
call around to find a mercedes indy who has the star computer like the mercedes dealership...to either re program it or replace the sam
the dealership will charge u 2 grand for this fix when it would only cost under a grand
but firstly check every single fuse in the car....trunk..drivers side..and engine compartment

first check your connections and pull out the light board and see if any of the resistors are melted. There have been other members with this issue and it has been a bad connection and just needed cleaning or the resistors have melted causing the messages to pop up.

Take apart the light fixture and see if the resistors are melted and the contact are clean. Just because the lights still work doesnt mean it might be making full contact which can cause the light message to come up. Or the resistors melting will throw it for sure. If you search some members have had this issue and that was the problem. h
