ever a recall on the tranny o-ring?
In the process of changing out the thermostat yesterday I discovered something leaking underneath the car. I removed the underbody cover from the tranny area too and snapped a few pics which I'll post later (maybe start a new thread to determine if the o-ring is really the culprit). I got to thinking about it this morning again and was wondering if there was ever a recall or campaign for this issue?

its funny i had this problem and it would have nearly costed for 2 grand to fix if the trans oil hit the trans control module...it was in the wiring harness so it was close
but it costed about 700 for a trans drain, new parking seals, at plug, pan gasket, and to clean the wiring harness
their isnt a recall on this AT plug adapter but i think theirs a techical bulletin
i honestly dont know why the krouts put this plug on the trans...more $$$$$ and problems????

Uuuuugh, guess I'm going to have to check the harness too. Where is the trans control unit located? It's not under the car near to this connector, is it???

Certainly no recall this end.
TCU is inside the car under the passenger kick plate. See both bulletins in pdf form.
