i have a 2001 mercedes c240, a few weeks ago i got my cars spark plugs and differential changed from a local car service shop and i noticed that my car is consuming way too much gas then before i fill my cars tank to about 1/4 every day and i dont even travel more than 12-16km after couple of kilometers ,the gas tank indicator hits the yellow light and tells me to visit a gas station, its so messed up and my highway fuel economy is a bit low to it usual gives me 80kilometers with 15$ of gas (10-12) liters of vpower from shell)

Get hold of an OBDII scanner and see if the car is storing any fuel trim codes. That will tell you if it is running too rich. I presume you fitted the correct plugs X 12 not that it would make a huge difference & that the service centre did not disturb any vacuum hoses & that the air cleaner is tightly fitted over the MAF.

I've just sold my pristine C240. Under mixture enrichment cold if you look at the fuel consumption display it should consume approx 14.1 litres/100Km. Fully warmed up on a flat road over maybe 15 kilometres on gentle throttle it should settle to approx 9.3l/100 Km.
