We got her car fixed yesterday. I scanned the invoice but I am not sure how to post on here. If someone could let me know, I will post it. Thanks

Same error my '03 C240 Wagon had. Indy did the conductor plate R&R for $950. Dealer quote was $1,400 and that was just a month ago. Think the dealers are bringing the price down under pressure or just to capture all of that almost guaranteed business?
Now I'm living the CPS circuit failure dream. Note that the only thing these two problems share in common is that they occurred on my car - man this is getting frustrating.

lol not something i would like to shell out..but gotta do what you gotta do. My question also... this part that they are going to change out.. is that going to fix my hard shifting as well? Because that has been addressed about 3x with a transmission reset? which did absolutely nothing

Add me to the list too... if someone is putting together a class action. 81k miles on mine, bad conductor plate/turbine speed sensor. Same exact symptomes and service was done at 39k miles.

Yes indeed Glyn. I was just enjoying the MB... 55k miles of trouble free driving and then this. When the indy shop was researching the problem, I remember seeing your SA scenery pop up on their computer screen

Im bringing it in on monday 7am. I went to autozone and got these two Codes P0335 and P0025. I know those are CPS senors but would that cause a message to come up" "speedtronic" failure or something along those lines? Because the symptoms you guys describe on this post kinda match what I have

In my experience with this issue, and it seems that others are having the same issue as I am, the only light or warning that appears is the check engine light, and that doesn't happen all the time, or to all of the people with this problem. There is a 0730 code that is stored by the TCM, but it does not give any warnings.

Wow what did they do? They drove you car 706 miles to repair this? What did they do? Drive it to another dealership to get it done?

Or did they found that they had fixed the problem and was having a blast with your car?

I think of the techs were going to have a blast with a car, they'd pick something other than a C230 automatic.

if my Valve Body was changed back in 2010. Would that include the conductor plate? MB is telling me that my numbers are off on my transmission and they need to readapt it. Instead of doing a one hour adaptation they require a 2 hour adaption to fix the harsh shifts. And they said if the adapation doesnt fix the harsh shifting I will need a new tranmission or have mine rebuilt. My car has 60K miles you believe this bs.

honestly Im very mechanically inclined but if the numbers are off they are off right :op. But anywayz Put it this way if that fixes the problem then i'll be happy. Better then paying 1200 for a conductor plate or something. But i told them they had to show me the numbers when I pick up the car and they said not a problem. So anyone have any idea what "numbers" they are talking about.

By your "numbers" they are talking about all your clutch pack lock up parameters & pressures. They can reset these with Star up to a point. If the clutch packs have been hammered some of the "numbers" can be borderline on spec.
