C63 AMG
For a mercedes I would buy a 1973 220 white/cream color with blue interior and completely restore it. Its my dream to do this one day when I know more about cars because my grandpa had this same car from 1975 when he bought it new from germany and it hasn't moved an inch ever since he passed away a few years ago. It was the first car I had ever driven and the first car my dad had ever driven. It is the reason I got pewter on my w203 because it was the closest color to it so it reminds me of that car. I would love to one day import the same exact one from Tehran Iran were it is right now and bring it back to life. (the picture is a picture of one similar to his not actually his)

But for non mercedes I would go with a Lambo Gallardo just because its not a car you would see to often.

If you are going to do that you might as well build a R65

I am left with my G500 and my 05 Cl55 AMG. I'm ready for anything, almost.
Ps
It would be nice to own Senna's 190E!

There were two 220s for sale in NW CT crxxgslist.

One was brown and one cream. Drove one, both in great shape.
Hopefully you can do a history search and find them . Let me know if you want me to drive the cream one and there is a great place to do an inspection here. The fellow who designed them also designed the BMW 2002 and the 220 is built to a higher standard. I know; i owned a 73 2002 for 38years. Then I sold it and bought an 03 NSX.

I imagined it to be no less than magical. The 02-05 NSX is an extraordinarily rare vehicle as the production numbers were low as parts dried up. It seems only appropriate that you enjoyed yours for a while then found it a new home. If everyone who owned one held onto it forever, I may never get the chance. So thanks for paying it forward... it's an under-appreciated and misunderstood supercar. Top Gear called the Bugatti Veyron the "Concorde of the road" and in speed, I agree. But in terms of forward thinking design, innovation, and being ahead of the curve even with old technology as the end came - I think the NSX should actually hold that title. It is representative of everything Honda is capable of but no longer aspires to, likely due to being governed by the bottom line rather than innovation.. hey, again, much like the aviation industry.

I must confess that when the day comes and I can find an 02-05 NSX, I'll likely never part with it..
