Epic Tires
Im currently running the same size tire front and back 225/24/17 which allows for a narrower width in the back as well as allowing tire rotation (both very good things). At $130 (more or less) a tire, there is really no better option for a dedicated set of snow tires.
Do not be fooled, these tires have a significant drop in dry performance due to the deep knobby treads, but then again these are not meant to be performance snow, they are 100% made for adverse condition traction.
If anyone is in the market for an incredibly safe and dare I say epicly grippy dedicated snow tire, I recommend these 100000%
Time to practice car control in an untouched empty parking lot

I mean just look at these things....bout as deep as the grand canyon.
