02 c230k coupe lowering n' other mod advice and want to buy

hey guys i'm pretty new here but i kinda want to lower my car and maybe get a pully, and maybe some other mods but my budget is pretty limited can anyone give me some advice on good springs (or coilovers if they are cheap enough) and where to get a pully for a good price or if anyone here has any of those still for sale at a good price, also maybe some other ideas on mods for my coupe like maybe a pully if it's worth it
thank you

An ASP pulley would be your best bet. Do a search for the info; they're in the $300-400 range with a core swap, I believe. I have a Renntech, which I got lucky with on ebay, but I doubt you'd find one these days.

Reasonable c/os will cost you around $1100, and ones with adjustable damping a bit more. Then you can go all the way up to $2300 or so. What's your budget for suspension? I have Eibach Pro springs, which give a pretty decent drop, and the price is reasonable on Tirerack.

I was thinking about tein springs mostly because they seem to be cheaper my budget is 200 maybe 300 for springs and as for the pulley do I need any sort of fuel upgrade if I upgrade the pulley?

Like you said, springs alone are around $200-300.
ASP is sold by ASP special order.

You can get Eibach springs from Tirerack. Tein, you'd have to go to their site and check for distributors. As far as the ASP pulley is concerned, just do a search here, and it should be easy to find.

You would not need a tune for a pulley upgrade. The difference is pretty impressive, though. Having said that, a tune (eurocharged or OE tuning are the two most popular ones) after the pulley would yield some nice improvements too.

The MB aftermarket is pretty small, so make sure to do the research yourself before talking to any vendor here or elsewhere.

i guess i'll just have to research the seller does anyone actually have any experience with the tein springs or know anything about them i can't find any good info on them on here, i don't want to be slammed but want to be notacably lower, with a ride something like a bmw with an m package (i know i'm not gonna turn my MB into a bmw but just a point to compare lol) and i'm not the biggest fan of the forward slant the coupe has. Also wondering how badly it will wear out my stock shocks any advice would be greatly appreciated

Eibach pro springs are $246 at Tirerack. I've had them on my car for years, and others have had similar good results.

As far as Tein, people here haven't had glowing reviews of their coilovers here, but don't remember much about anyone talking about their springs.

IMHO, though, there's no reason for you to need to look anywhere else than Eibach pros.

Stock shocks (if you haven't replaced them yet) will be on life support no matter whose springs you install. They just can't handle the change in drop and spring rates, and they're very old at this point.

I hate to break it to you, but that forward slant can only be "fixed" by going with coilovers; springs won't cure the difference between front and rear sufficiently. And you're going to have to break the piggy bank to get them.

i haven't seen much as to tein springs eather (guess thats a bad sign) and that does make sence with stock shocks i guess i will just upgrade them when they blow. as for the slant not worth getting coil overs to fix, just thought i saw one of the brands fixed it or something must have been mistaken

what about H&R springs are they close or also not so great?
also the springs are diferent for the coupe and the sedan right I would think the weight would need diferent springs
