Muffler/ Exhaust for w203

So I am a bit lost on what to do about my exhaust for my 20005 c230K. I don't really know to much about how mufflers and exhausts really work. Iv searched the forum and haven't really gotten to much help on what to do so please help me out here. I want a louder sound with more of a power full sound. I dont like how those ricer hondas that have supper lowed cheep sounding ones. I want something that makes my car sound more powerful but also being sorta loud too. Any tips on what I sound get/do? Thanks!

Wow! Where did you get a 20005 C230K??? Who would have thought MB would make C230Ks in 18000 years!!!

There have been other threads that discuss mufflers, etc... You might try a youtube search. People who post videos may include information about their setup. Sorry I don't have have any information of my own. Mine is completely stock in that regard.

Eisenmann is the direction you should be going in, based on your requirements. It's quite loud, and my office always knows when I'm arriving to do battle for the day.

Here's SuperSprint's Catback:

How much is the supersprint exhaust above my post? Eisenmann race exhaust cost 1200. Thats too much for just a muffler.

I wish I still had my sound clip for the C240's supersprint. I think they are on sale for about $750.

I had no clue mufflers cost that much! I am paying 40 for a magnaflow including installation at a muffler shop. I'm not sure if I am going to do it because my friend just got pulled over last night for his muffler being to loud, and a few weeks ago another one of my friends got pulled over for a loud muffler.

youtube.com and just type in w203 or c230 exhaust... you will hear all different types of exhaust and you can go from there

Just don't remove your secondary resonator. If you want a nice muffler and not too loud, flowmaster 50 series is a good choice.

Get a Meisterschaft muffler! I don't think there are much w203s with them, but it sounds pretty raw!

I just purchased an AMG muffler off a C32 ... My only problem is my rear bumper. I might need to update to the AMG kit so it fits!

No offense to people that bought meistershaft, but i couldnt trust a brand that's started by a shop that sold fake eisenmann and got their distributorship revoked by eisenmann. Even tho it may look like good quality product, but i have doubt if they actually test flow like reputable brands.

A lot of these Youtube videos have really nice sounding exhaust tones, problem is, They are mostly the M272 6cyl., not the M271 4 cyl. motor many of us have.
IMO all of the 4cyl. exhaust tones sound like rice boxes.
I wish we could find a nice single inlet/dual outlet muffler that has a soft deep and sort of quiet tone, that doesn't cost an arm and leg, and doesn't loose power or back pressure for our 4cyl models.
