I deffinatly feel you on the bigger the rim the bigger the head ache. The thing about were I live is there is really no wheel shops. The only places that even deal with anything that have to do with wheels is wheel works and americas tire co; both of which are big tire chains that don't know much.I think I am going to wait till I go down to socal to get new wheels because theres a ton of places down there that know there sh*t down there. Probably going to return these and go with 18s. Also wow that sounds scary about your first set of wheels, glad it didn't turn out worst.

Heres some pics of the 19s that I ordered but had fitment issues with:
Love the way they look. What do you guys think about 18s vs 19s?

Yeah it could of been real bad. Think about driving on the freeway and a tire coming unbolted at high speeds. After seeing that I decided to spend some time finding a good shop to handle the rims. It was hard because I wanted to mount them right on the minute I got them but it has worked out better in the long run. No major chain will touch spacers but I've found chains that will work with me once I have established a relationship with them. Good luck, go to SoCal, sounds like a better option. Plus you can enjoy the ride back home with a wash and some tire shine!

Driving down to return these. I also found a set of LMs that are in LA that is super close fitment, will only need a 2mm spacer for them. I think thats going to be hard to find so I will have to probably put on a 5mm spacer. Might go with 18s but still trying to decided between the two. Also going to go with gunmetal this time.

Hm does sort of look like my wheels, only my mesh styles a bit different. That car looks really similar to the couple I almost bought when I was shopping for my car. Always wonder if I should have gone with the couple or 4 door. Is the gas mileage on couples a lot better the sedans?

Probably going to leave friday night, spend Saturday getting new wheels, tires, alignment, and MAYBE some lowering springs, I doubt I will but Im defiantly open minded to it if I see a good deal while I am down there. Then pend Sunday enjoying orange county. I am going to try to go to UCI and UCSB and check out there campuses and see if they have any tours because I really want to go to one of those two schools.

Sorry to bump up a old thread but I had a quick question.
So I got another set of LM reps from the sponsor on the form 323 motor sports. I ordered 12mm spacers for the front and 15mm for the rear. Now my concern is lug bolts. I have searched and read many threads and posts and I am confused. There are some posts telling me that I need to take 39.9mm+the size of the spacer and thats the size that my lugs need to be..for example 39.9+12=51.9mm bolt. I have seen some say 28mm+the size of the spacer...for example 28+12=40mm. Also I have spoken to a few people who have the same exact wheels, offsets, and spacer sizes and they say they are using stock bolts with no problem. So could someone on here clarify for me? I have spent a few weeks trying to get everything together that I need for these wheels and don't want to end up getting the wrong size and having my ebrake get damaged or worst have them be to short and my wheel falls off or something. Thanks in advanced

You take your stock wheel and your new wheel, put your stock bolt through it and measure the part of the bolt that sticks out through the back. You get the length of the bolt you need depending on how much more or less it sticks out compared to the stock wheel plus you add the thickness of the spacer.
For example, say it sticks out 30 mm on the stock and 30 mm on the new wheel. All you have to do then is add the length of the spacer (12mm for example) and thats the size of the bolt you need (and make sure you add the total length of the stock bolt plus the spacer thickness, not the length of the bolt part sticking out, to get the total length of the bolt you need).
Now for example, if it sticks out 30mm on the stock wheel and only sticks out 20mm on your new wheel and then you add the thickness of the spacer (12mm) it totals out to about the same as stock bolt length, in which case you can use your stocks.

I would also recommend Sonic Motorsports. I see lambos, r8's, mercedes cls getting service there like everyday.

As promised pics of the wheels, sorry it took so long, I just got them on today, but in the end it was well worth it. Thanks for everyones help! There gun metal LM reps, 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears. Running H&R front 12mm spacers and H&R 15mm rear spacers. Looks pretty fush to me but I had a bit of rubbing on the drive home so I think I'v got some work to do to fix that. The front caps aren't on yet, I need to adjust it so I can get them to fit in. Tires are 225/35/19 and 245/35/19. Heres some pics, will have the stock wheels for sale in the next few days if anyones interested, Enjoy the pics:
Last picture with the old wheels, right before it went it to have the new ones put on
A quick pick of how the brake caliper paint is looking after 2 months, not to bad, just some chipping on the bolts
And now the wheels:
you can see were I spilled the caliper paint when I was doing them 2 months ago on the sidewalk, still hasn't come off the ground
Some pics of my coupe and sedan together:
How it would sorta look like with a drop:

Nice! Very nice.
Wow, the 'streched look' sure leaves the rims exposed.
Be careful with those baby's!
Almost forgot you were the same guy who bought Jordan's car!
On a side note,
How'd the thing work out with the EIS?
What did it end up being?

and I ended up having the EIS replaced, ran close to $1500, cars running pretty good now.
