I posted this question on the DIY thread also. If I order this part OEM it doesn't come with the red key. If I order from a OES supplier it does. Who should I order from to get the best part that includes the key or should I order the key separate? Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You're right - I ordered from RM European and didn't get the key.
I don't know why you wouldn't order from the supplier from the get-go and get everything at once.

Perhaps I wasn't clear in my original post. The key I am referring to is the one that holds the clockspring for removal. You can see it in the link below. Would you buy the OES part over the OEM to get this tool? I don't want to regret the purchase. Any help will be appreciated.

That's a very good price. Why not buy it from them? A dealer would be much more expensive. I believe that RM was more expensive; as I have yet to do anything with the one I bought, I'll see if I still have the receipt.

No, it's all from the same origin, really.
However, if something happens, I will refuse to admit I said that.
You can always return it if there's a problem, of course.

That little key doesn't really do a whole hell of alot except keeping the one disk in the Steering Angle Sensor from spinning. You could probably use a straw or small dowel or something. I have an extra one I've never used, just be careful not to spin it once removed.
