please offer either a picture or advise regarding wiring seat module

Hello gentlemen,

Long story short, I have discovered that the CANBus connection to the passenger seat module only has earth wire and the rest of them completely missing. (see picture)

On the contrary driver's CANBus connection to the seat module has earth and the rest of the wires. (see picture)

Am I missing cables on the passenger seat?
Driver's seat is a left picture, consequently passenger seat is a right picture.

Anyone with a comment at least without a picture?

My seats are fully electric memory seats.

Driver seat is working - no problem.

Passenger seat stopped reclining back/forward recently. Just clicking noises upon operating the switch on the door. This is why I started looking into it.

(Oh and passenger side seat doesn't move back forward too, but I always knew that and right now its irrelevant (I think))

But before I started dealing with motors I wanted to do the basic visual check. Hence noticed illogic differential.

For the sake of more info:
- its an RHD vehicle.
- pass.side -- head rest operates up/down by the switch - no problem

the wiring is correct, the drivers side has an additional motor for longitudinal adjustment, hence the extra wires, CAN bus does not have a earth it works on differential pair principle, hope that will help you

How interesting. Yes, that certainly helps me. THANK YOU!

I guess I now need to get on with mechanics of the seat.

Well, time to read more threads…(sigh)
