Guess I'll check in in a few years. Curious how durable this is.
I already had my cluster replaced under warranty for this (they gave me a 2004 cluster). The new cluster display lasted probably 4-5 years before the fading began again.
For those who got the original batch several years ago, can someone chime in and let us know about the durability of the product?

My $66 unit from this group buy lasted about a year before it started fading around the edges again. Presently the edges are gone and the rest fades out to a point where it's unreadable during the day. When I first use the car in the morning it's OK. I'm sure I'm an extreme since this seems to be a heat related issue and I live in the Desert, where it's been 105+ for the past many weeks. None of our other cars exhibit this problem with their displays so it sure would be nice to find a replacement that can stand up to the heat...

Yikes. That's worse than the stock one, which only fades at the top row. Guess I'm keeping the original one.
Anyone out there have better luck with these things?
