question about sunroof on 03 cars

Question question about sunroof on 03 cars

ok lets say i walk out of my car and my sunroof is half open. i press the button on my smartkey to close the door but my sunroof does not close . its suppose to right? :o

so is this option available on the 03s?

You have to point your key DIRECTLY AT the infra red area on your door handle. You have to walk pretty close to it.

I usually hold the lock button until the windows close then release and repeat until the sunroof is closed then release and reapeat a last time to close the sunshade.

I just close everything before shutting off the engine; it's just faster for me that way.

same here... they should've made it one touch close so you dont have to stand there holding the button down forever...

They should've also made it one-touch open, not two-touch. Who keeps their sunroof open halfway?

I do sometime drive with just a lil sunroof open for some air (not too much). But YES u do look like an idiot, getting out the car, standing next to the door about 3-5ft (b/c thats the bloody range of the IR sensor) and hold the button down until windows/sunroof closes up I hate doing this. It is useful when i'm getting off work and its hot, so i let the windows down abit while i load stuff in back.
