2003 c240 cigarette lighter assembly help
So, my Mercedes cigarette lighter went out and I live 2 hours away from a local dealer. Ive searched for hours on tons of parts sites, but to no avail I cannot find one. Does anyone know where I can get this part?

Fuse 47 under the hood.
15 amp.
Don't waste your time or money on replacing the one in the
drink holder.
I'd post you to the link where I mounted a 3 outlet one just below the radio, but the search isn't working.
The 1st one I did was kinda junky.
Just did it again this weekend, and this one has 3 outlets and a USB power port, which is great, charges my Bluetooth headset.
You have to take the dash apart, but thats not hard.
Tap into the existing lighter power, and mount this in the plastic piece below the radio, if you don't have command. Drill a hole for the power and a couple holes to mount it using the existing holes in the unit itself but with longer screws.
OK here the old pic, search is working now, with the old adapter. The plastic broke that holds the sockets in place on this one. Replaced with the one above. They put a blue LED in which I cut, don't want the thing lighting up. CLick on the pics to link.

I checked the fuse, even replaced it when it appeared to be good. I don't want to do any mod work, I like keeping my Benz completely stock. Still no luck

2nd time around....stock one sucks. You have to have the cup holder open all the time.
Stuff falls in the hole for the lighter, hard to get out
and it won't make contact if there's stuff in it.
If something metal falls in it blows the fuse.
It breaks every year or so.
It's poorly designed.
Trying to run all my accessories from the one plug is a mess.
And it costs a hundred bucks just for the part.
Fuggetaboutit!
This costs about 15 bucks at the local auto parts store
and I actually mount it with screws from underneath.
