WHAT A MESS. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Has anybody ever seen this cat?

White C32K (?) with Spinning Wheels, (The right rear one didn't spin), clear rear lenses with blue bulbs or something blue in it, and every spoiler and plastic attachment possible. Looked like a persian kid driving. Didn't think of taking a picture until later...

Never seen such a nasty setup before.

Now I wounder if it really was a C32?

I saw one a month ago on the 5 freeway, slammed, rear wing, spoiler on rear window. Looked like 15 inch chrome wheels. Was at least 5 inches lower than a white C320 next to it on the freeway. I thought it had C32 badges.

While we're on the subject of spinners, I kid you not, I saw a beat up POS with wheels that appeared to be spinning. I couldn't believe it because they looked like original 14" or 15" size and I don't think they make spinners that small, and even if they did, why would anyone spend more than the car is worth on rims? Upon closer inspection, they were HUBCAPS with spinners attached! Can you believe people actually make those?!

i think i saw this guy drive down wilshire blvd. it looked funny/ugly looking. i believe he had the c32 badge on but no exhaust tips as in the ones from the non sport 240 and 320. i couldn't believe it...his trunk was making this obnoxious noise from the lousy subs in the back. i guess his license plates weren't screwed on. it was soo bad. i proceeded to get next to him to see what kind of a person would do that to such a nice car....some kid. mind you, im a kid myself, 18years old and i was in my c230 coupe. my friend and i just gave him this dissaproving look and left. i felt bad for him...now i carry around a digital camera in my car just incase i run into such a horrible thing again.

Tell your friend that in the immortal words of Whitney Houston, "Crack is wack."

There are several C32 owners in the SoCal area that would be more than happy to burn your friend. Be sure to tell him that spinning rims are lightweight (so that they can spin so quickly!) and he should keep them on the vehicle.

Unsprung weight affecting performance is a great lie of the auto industry.

He must be getting paid to do this to his car. No normal person would do something like that.

"The only problem with common sense is, it's not very common."

Can't we make a citizen arrest for vandalism or disturbing the peace? Or at least get a restraining order?

Next time I see him I'll try to take a video.

LOOK WHAT I SAW TONIGHT ON SUNSET . . .
I don't think it's the same car but very similar. The other one had clear lenses, trunk spoiler, and C32K emblems.

Two ladies were driving the car, and those spinners were spinning B I G time....

Don't know, I usually do not engage in such activity.

Are you referring to the spinning rims or the 187/Murder/Death/Kill rate?

are there eatons s/c for C-class with V6?

either way, even the more effecient Kleemann C32k couldn't catch the C32 back in Car and Driver's test.

park in front of a mansion on Westridge @ Brentwood when I ride my MTB up to Santa Monica Mountain. Bad wheels with nice looking exhausts.

I THINK THE CAR IS TASTEFULLY DONE!
I personally would never buy or use spinning rims unless I was in the business of selling them. That car is not overdone and 'may' be a showcar or a display car or a promtional ride. Maybe most of you have never been to a custom car show - you would be disappointed if all the cars were stock with no wild ideas or creations to see. I have seen worse cars and the one that comes to mind is that overdone silver C240 owned by the PornStar clothing guy.

If the wheels did not spin most would say it is 'tight'! Why are those rims ugly? Because they spin? The style (the white spinner) is not overblown and wild - it is very conservative compared to most spinning wheel styles. Is it ugly just because it spins? That wheel may be silly but it is not ugly.

And that dual exhaust is really off the chain!

it's not ugly because it spins. It's ugly simply because it's UGLY. Even spinner rims has good looking one. That white one is simply plain UGLY.
