Hit a curb - need help diagnosing what needs to be repaired

Hey Guys,

I hit a curb last weekend coming around a turn too fast. It took a chunk out of my tire and a little bit of my rim. I also bent my lower passenger side control arm.

After replacing my control arm, buying 4 new tires, and having a 4 wheel alignment done the car seems to still not be fully restored.

Any suggestions as to what I should address next?
There is slight vibration in the steering wheel, and my overall steering response dosent seem to be as tight as usual.

Wheel bearings? or somesort of bushings?

Thanks for your help!

So it was the right front right? You could have bent so many other things the other control arm, shock (unlikely), Damage a wheel baring or hub. How much was checked or were the obvious bent control arm replaced and that was it.

Samaritrey - thanks for your reply!

I have only replaced the obviously bent control arm, all other control arms and the sway bar seem straight to the naked eye, but machienery might differ in opinion.

Any ideas based on previous incidents like this?

thanks!

What did you do with the rim that was damaged?

did they check it for a bend because that could cause your issue.

+1 on what Trey says about the rim. We found out our car had been curbed after we bought it. The rims didn't look bent and the one I specifically inquired about the tire shop said it was ok but that was not the case.

I just ended up replacing all 4 wheels last week because 3 of the 4 were bent and it has solved many of the issues we were having with ours.
