what size allen wrench needed to remove strut?

I tried to get the original struts off of my 02 coupe yesterday to install coilovers and i got all bolts loose except for the one at the top of the spindle that holds the spindle to the strut. The bolt head looks like you hold it with an allen wrench to remove the regular nut. Could someone tell me what you used to remove this bolt. I havent been able to find anything in a store big enough to fit. The largest allen wrench i have is 3/8" or 10mm but this looks much bigger. Thank you.

Yes it's the bolt behind the brake, not the one under the hood. What is T40?

My set looks like this. I bought it from pepboys. Before I had that i actually got an allen wrench to fit in it. You can try Northern Tools, they usually have sizes most auto stores dont carry.

You need t55.
It's the size I just used on all of my rear suspension components.
The set that contained it is from Harbor Freight or Sears, can't remember which.
