Lighted Mercerdes Emblems
I just saw a C32 with lighted badges and emblems. It looked awesome. It was the same light that the door sills look like. The V6 kompressor badge and AMg and C32 badges were all that way. It looked really good. But do ya'll think that was kinda tacky. I didnt. It wasnt very bright but it was noticable.

I don't know...Sounds too funky to me. But, I guess I'd have to see it to comment on it. It makes me think of that ugly neon that some types like to put under their rides..... makes me think.. "Why?"

It was very tastefully done, you could hardly tell that the were glowing unless you were within about 20 or so feet. It was a silver light wchich looked good cause it was a silver car.

i was thinking of using one of those glow sticks that kids use during halloween for my teleaid antenna. Additionally, instead of chrome headlamp rings, I'd use the same glow-type necklaces, affixed to the headlamps with cooked calrose rice since it's so sticky.
Seriously, I'd like to see how those lit emblems look. Also, I don't have anything against "ricers" as I know my car is butt slower than a stock civic.

of course, since timmy saw one, i'd conclude that there is at least 1 c32 w/ such emblems. but thanks for making another member feel inferior w/ your disdain... i return the sentiment.

I never said anyone is not free to put lighted emblems, washer nozzles, undercarriage neon, etc. Obviously some people like that stuff, JC Whitney and Pep Boys are a billion dollar industry.
All I said was that I have seen a lot of Hondas with lighted emblems, but never seen an MB with one. Just an observation.
I also said I've seen some ricers with lighted washer nozzles. Just another observation.
I agree its a free country. I never suggested that anyone is not free to do ANYTHING they want to their car. But I am equally free to make fun of it. And, I will exercise my freedom to do so, esp. when I see ridiculous kid's stuff inflicted on MBs.
(I love your type, people are free to express any opinion, as long as it is one YOU agree with).

my 2 cents on this is ... if someone doesn't like something...say they don't and leaveit at that... no need to elaborate and hurt anyones feelings..

The rolling AMG sign is interesting. A bit too much to put on a car. Maybe good for decoration on your room or desk. Acutally it might look cool on my wall or entertainment case. It can go well with my blacklight, Red Dog Neon sign, etc. Hehe. Something fun too look. My .02.

maybe i am off my rocker, but that AMG glowing brake disc, is not like an indiglo or aftermarket glow.... its supposedly glowing from hard braking, although i doubt that photo is un retouched.
and that lame looking amg indiglo thing is different then the illuminated badging, which i will withold judgement on, since i have never seen them.

Here's a link to a page with some things that I think that some people (peeps?) here would be interested in purchasing.

You know, some people in here NEED to take their elitist and snobbish attitudes someplace else, where likeminded elitists and snobbish a-holes would be impressed by it. If you don't like neon, lighted emblems, WHATEVER, then politely say so and leave it at that. There is no need to cut someone else down, or to be passive-aggressive and post links to sites with neon products on them. Do you feel superior when you do that. Or does it give you something to laugh about with Bradford and Buffy when you go play squash at the Club? Do what you want with your own damn car, and if you don't like what someone else does with theirs, TOUGH. MB can do all they want to change their image or lure new kinds of buyers, but I guess they can't get rid of the stuffed shirt, self-important, stodgy owners.
