What is this???

I was looking in my top arm rest of my 2004 c230 coupe and I found a plastic cap. I took it off and found a phone, connection plug. What is this? Can it be used? I am attaching a pic of it, not very good but hopefully you will see what I mean.

Thanks
Bob

If you have the Mercedes phone, you can connect it and use it hands free....there is a button on your steering wheel and on your radio that says "Phone" Check this link out https://mbworld.org/forums/audio-ele...bluetooth.html

I have a cell phone but can't connect via bluetooth, 'no phone'. Connect? I am not sure I follow you.

Thanks

Sorry, you wont be able to use a phone yet because you have to wire the phone. I taught you had the same thing as me, but yours is not "pre-wired" like mine. I believe it costs a lot of money to do the setup...not sure tho. this link will give you more info https://mbworld.org/forums/audio-ele...bluetooth.html
