You should really start your own build thread so you can post all your questions in one area and read the responses easier. Search the forum and the diy/aftermarket thread. It has an exhaust thread in there.

I purchased a c32 AMG Remus exhaust, which is sitting in my garage. I'd love to install it but in order to do so I need to upgrade my c320 bumper to a sport bumper. I might opt against spending the $ and leave the car be.

The best exhaust is the OE Benz exhaust.

The Sport exhaust system on my 05 is already too damned noisy. Can't imagine why it would need to be noisier.

How old are you guys?

However, I would say that the Eisenmann race is too loud after a while. It's not good that everyone inside the building knows when I pull into the parking lot in the morning.

+1 > When I do have the c32 exhaust installed I plan on leaving it as quite as possible.

I think he has a coupe.
The space is very tight in there, it's tall and short.
The only mufflers that fit in that space are
Remus, and Supersprint.
Both are STOOOPID expensive. Like 800-1000
+ shipping + install.
I watched and waited until one came up used.
Every once in a while one comes up used for around $300.
I totally scored mine for $200.

I was told as long as i can get a single off set offset muffler it would work and i was planning on removing the res and installing a glass pack or strait pipe, maybe even a high flow

Eisenmann fit as well.

Bat, if you're in NNJ, and want to hear mine, let me know. There are other options from Eisenmann that are not as loud as mine.

why do people answer sarcastically it does nothing to help. C230k Bat i suggest you google local exhaust shops and call for quotes on a quad exhaust setup. i got my quad exhaust setup for dirt cheap, sounds awesome, and my local shop has not only impressed me but made me enjoy my w203 for life. Get a good magna flow and you'll like it.

I use to live in Rockland County right by Montvale. Have you guys ever attended car club on Sunday nights on r59? Not sure if they still are doing this as I haven't been living in NY for like 5 years.

Agreed... I have the M271 with a Kleemann exhaust, with high flow cat finished off with a Remus square dual tip. Perfect tone for me and performance to match.

As people always say: that's a 4 cyl !.... usually that look comes from it's pick up and go performance, to it's nice low rev tone and wot sound... mid-range it's just ... inconspicuous.
