Dealer messed up my rim!!!
Took my car in for service A yesterday... pick up my car and when I get home, I notice on my front drivers side rim has a big curb gash on the lip!!! went back to the dealer today to show them what they did!!! Service manager is working on a resolution and will call me in a week...
Very first service on my car and they damage my wheels!!!

It was the complimentary carwash service that apparently damaged the wheel... their not supposed to carwash a vehicle with custom wheels/lowered in the first place so I was told... service advisor told me that it'll take a week to process the claim... and yes if I dont hear from them in a week I definitely will be causing some havoc up in there!!!

Da *******s put your car throught the car wash!?! SOB's! I accidently had my car go through one of those a few months back, and I learned my lesson. Have 'em pay! Good side of it though is you can have 'em chrome the lips instead.

Each time mine's gone in it comes out with a scratch this ime there re-spraying the hole side of the car, ha it teaches them right give them hell.

one of my friend wash the car at COLIMA, NOGALES. they pay for it...
if dealer possibility .... they will pay.....

Man that sucks. 1 week is plenty of time to process a claim like that. Call them the minute that week is up. Try and get a free oil change out of it or something. I doubt they'll give you much more tho.

well... dealer doesnt wanna pay for the damages or replace the wheel... they have no proof that the damages were done on the premises so basically its my word against theirs... still trying to fight out for it though... any advice guys?

Most dealers do a pre work report ask to see it for your car, even if they havent listed the damage to the rim you can still claim becasue its there own fault for not listing and his orignial statement to you shows that they did do it

I always 'walk' the car with my service advisor. If either of us see a problem, we write it down, otherwise, whatever damage the car sustains, they will pay.
On a side note, when my Jag was being serviced, they washed the car. I have Ventshade type gaurds on the car, but they are made by Jaguar specifically for the car. Anyway, they are removable, so when they washed it they removed them, but installed them again incorrectly. While driving home they came off, scratched the car, and broke on the street. I went right back, they paid for a new shade, paid to repaint the scratches, and gave me a $250 credit in Jag merchandise.

my head service tech will not let me leave the showroom when taking the car in before walking aroud noting stone chips and thats all he can note.
i'm still awaiting the side to be resprayed they got until the end ofthis month beofre i get solitors involed as its been nearly 2 months since the damade come on how hard is it to organise a respray, i said to them your hoping someone will hit me before you got to respray it, and he laughed i said dream on ill tell them it was there before and you'll still have to do something
