2005 C320 coupe - Shift knob cover plate

My wife has an automatic c320 coupe from 2005.

Recently a part broke, it's cover of the shifter, basically that plate that is under the boot and has the letters on it for drive, park, etc. Basically one of the little plastic pieces that keep it from coming out broke so the thing keeps popping out.

How easy will it be to replace?
And how do I find the part number?

Thank you.

Super glue
its a common problem, I have it on both my C230s, just use some clear super glue and do a clean job and it will come out like new. I checked how much the part cost at the dealer and they said something around $125

I thought about the glue but we are getting ready to sell the car and I would hate to do that to the new owner.

You can use epoxy if you don't want glue, it's strong stuff. Or get the part from rmeuropean or mymercedesparts

What is the part name? I have found parts that look right but I want to be fairly certain before I order it.

As long as he is going to install it in order to minimize costs.

Easier then turning on your car.
Super simple, the leather part just comes right off, maybe put a flat head in between the metal part and leather and it will just pop right off. The other part will snap right in also.

That is expensive. Funny how I never came across that even though I searched for X amount of hours.

They are expensive when you buy singles. Really cheap when you buy a donor car
