C240 2002 Please help urgent...
hi guys,
i have a c240 2002 car , lately i started to have problems with my transmission.
1- if i am climbing and the car try to downshift i can feel a little jerk in the car.
2- in downhill when the transmition try to upshift the car just bounce forward.
i have checked for computer errors , none
i checked the transmission oil nothing wrong and clean to
what could it be , i am frustrated please help.

When last was the transmission oil & filter changed?
Is the fluid level correct?
Check the electrohydraulic pilot bush for fluid leaks. Front RHS diagonal of the transmission.
Lift the passenger side carpet & kick plate inside the car & check the harness & floor for fluid that might have wicked up the harness.
The 2002 TCU can't be reflashed so we can't do that.

and it does not always jerks or kick .
but i will check the passenger side carpet . and i will reply .

The only other thing I can think of on a 2002 model is the Valeo radiator leak into the transmission cooler. Common problem IF you have a Valeo radiator & not a Behr. Have your transmission fluid checked for glycol. You might need a new radiator & transmission flush.
Of course there are many possible mechanical issues with conductor plate, valve body, clutch packs, speed sensors & valve solenoids but all will throw codes. You can only read these codes on Star or with an OBDII scanner capable of reading transmission codes.
