Engine Problem, Gas Problem, Help??
Today getting on the freeway I pushed on the gas to accelerate and my 2002 C-240 stuttered a lot. It slowly gained speed, but, not like it should. As I went down the freeway it continued to stutter. I stopped on the shoulder but it went away, but shortly after I started going it happened again. I got off the freeway and it seemed to stop. The acceleration is a lot less, and when the problem is happening if you push the gas all the way down it barley accelerates and stutters. It seems like there is air in the gas, but, I know this is not it, I put this just to give an example of what it seems like.
Any ideas? Help!
Thank you

First thing to check is that you have > 3.8 bar or 55 psi at the fuel rail Schrader valve. The fuel rail connects all the injectors up front. You might have a failing fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.
After that clean the MAF.
Check CPS - although I would expect hard starting if CPS is failing.
Also read stored codes with an OBDII scanner. It might be TPS or ingnition or similar. Can be coil packs or spark plug wires.
Good luck!
