Purge Valve issue

So I noticed a ticking noise. I have confirmed its the purge valve. It ticks and when I put my finger on it, it feels like a fast heartbeat. I have a few questions. What do i need to do to fix this? Do i need to replace the Purge Valve Fuel Vapor Canister and/or Regeneration Valve Fuel Vapor Recovery? If so, where can i get a new updated one at? I saw that there is a "new designed", but have no clue where to purchase it at.

Is there another fix to this?

Thanks in advance to any answers/replies!

usually in most cases its the canister. you can probably remove them and see if its just dirty and needs a cleaning.

Ah, well I'm not really mechanically inclined at all. So i wouldn't have a clue how to even do that, let alone put a new one in. I'm a newbie and attempting to learn.

Replace it. The best way. See Wiki. You can't repair them.

So the ticking noise is not good. What exactly does this guy do. I thought the ticking noise was normal. Whats happens when it ticks?

Purge valve is an electrically-operated solenoid, that controls the amount of fuel vapor that is purged from the charcoal canister. it's controlled by the Engine ECU,,

When the engine is off, the purge valve is closed..

ZAYED,,
