Question Stoping issues

For the past month or so I will drive like nothing and then when I come to a stop once in a while only it like u hit the peddle all the way down and the car wont accelerate past 2-3rpm even with the pedal all the way down.. So I would need to turn off the car and back on and problem fixe any ideas what's wrong?

try the throttle rest. do a search for it, or look in the wiki or diy thread.

10.5 in rear is going to need alot of fender pulling. plus CCW doesnt make 19s.

18x9 +15 front
18x10 +15 rear

Oh ok thanks, for the advice Atleast I wouldn't have been stuck trying to figure out which fitment, going straight the the factory as they are only 30 min away. These wheels been my fave, had them on my SC and Civic... How many mm did u stretch? Sorry to get off topic

Are you stuck in limp mode? Any CEL? The 7G transmission sometimes have conductor plate problems that cause them to go into limp mode. You should scan and see if there are any pending or stored codes. A throttle reset is not a bad idea for sure, but I don't see an out-of-sync throttle causing you to not be able to rev past 2-3k RPMs.

i pulled the fenders a lot, maybe 20mm or more. also the fronts are going to hit the calipers no matter what. i ordered +25 in front but they still hit so I had to use a 10mm spacer just to clear the caliper. you will also need to stretch quite a bit. im on 225/40 and 235/40 but i'm going to stretch more because i'm so low and it still rubs a little bit. you'll have to grind down the rear tabs holding the rear bumper and side rear strip by the rear door so it doesnt cut up the wheel. My numbers are extreme for our cars, even the guys at CCW called me back making sure thats what I wanted.

Hmmz.. sounds like a early sign of the conductor plate going bad.

He has an 06, which is a 7G tranny. Yup.. it could well be it. Welcome to the club of the 7G conductor plate issue.

No throttle response usually means your pedal sensor is toast. It can cause intermittent problem until it is completely gone.

Well its not like I'm not getting a response, It happens always when I come to a complete stop and then when I hit the gas it takes off extremely slow and won't pass 2-3 rpm... Don't kno if this makes sense but almost as if it were on another gear or something. Then when I make another complete stop I just shut off the car and restart it and "wa-la" it stops! Correct me if I'm wrong, dont kno if that os what u were trying to say, but it makes no sense to me why it does this and irritates the hell out of me... Lol

Scan the car using OBDII scanner (like at autozone for free) and see if there are any pending/stored codes.

next time when you come to a stop press and hold the gear lever to manually select first gear to see if the problem goes away. if it does go away it may be what 04mbc230 said which the conductor plate is causing the gearbox not selecting the right gear when you stop and then start to move.

Well I did the throttle reset that helped for about a week it happened again last night... I did what Frank told me and no matter what gear I put it on it will still do it, until I turned the car off and started it back on and fixed...
