I would change the CPS soonest. If you get stuck pour cold water over it. That sometimes gets them going again until hot.
You can do it yourself with some cursing due to restricted access. No Star adaption required.

Well part from mb Is 215.00 Canadian (rip off)
Local Indy wants 250 parts in says he uses mb part. Or I supply part and 70.00 labour
Napa wants 70.00 for part claims its oem manufacture
Not sure what to do here
Are these known to break off inside tranny when removing?

well if NAPA is cheapest I'd call them and ask what is the manufacture of the part to see if its really the OEM one. funny thing is that the bosch part cost more than OEM lol

well the part was $51.00 as they gave me trade price
turned out to be made by FAE in Spain (at least not china POS)
20 mins to install I did NOT remove the MAF as i could just get it from the drivers side as i have small hands used 1/4 drive with a 3" and a 6" extension and the t8 socket
I did cut one cable tie sa i could move a wire loom over 2" for clearence
the new CPS fit tighter in the tranny hole but everything lined up perfectly
