How often have you brought your 2002 c230 in for unscheduled service?
It seems like there are tons of posts on this board about how often people have been taking their 2002 c230k in for some problem and had to leave it for a few days. I'm just trying to get a better idea of what most people actually experience, since mine will arrive in a week.

Taken it in 5 times. All 5 for a free car wash!. never a problem with the car though.

My car has been in a total of 30 times. Do I win!
I brought my car in for 22 free car washes, 1 free detail, 2 radio problems, 2 check engine lights (thermostat), 1 ding removal (was there when new), 1 time for CD Changer install, 1 time for a few wheel bolts were rusting and they put the Porterfield pads on. Next visit it Saturday morning for a car wash.

C230K Coupe/Orion/C4/C5/CD/AMG Spoiler/V60/TeleAid, 2 MGB's
twice, so far...third time will be Friday for a 5k oil change and tire rotation.(I know...it's not necessary, but I think of it as cheap insurance against expensive engine repair))
First time was for a teleaid/sos error - two hours to correct 'loose connectors' and update the software (amazingly, this also fixed a problem with audio distortion in the mids)
Second time was for a 1k oil change to get the factory blended sludge changed to pure Mobil1...

2002 Lexus IS300 5-speed
brought in twice, once to install cd changer, second for some paint damage that I found and it took them 1 week to fix it, was given a E320 loaner.
the dealer does give free car wash but it's almost 60 miles away so it's not worth the drive unless I am around the neighborhood.

Three times so far on a 35 day old car, 4th time Friday. They have a nasty sign about bringing in a car on Saturdays for a free wash so I assume they will do it weekdays. Next time I will try for the Mustang rental yeehaa.
