Bad Gas 2002 C230

So i live in long island and with the recent hurricane Sandy gas has become scarce. I took a chance and got the only premium gas i could find only to realize my car is now shaking and sputtering. I suspect either it was a low grade gas or just bad gas. How do i drain the gas tank or can i siphon the gas out? If anyone has an answer for me that would great!

where the fuel filter... is their are fuel lines easiest way to drain

but other than that u already ran the bad gas thru the engine...techron fuel cleaner is the best but u should only put that in before u fill up

their is a octane booster that has "jet fuel" orange bottle at autozone in it i used it once when i put reg gas and it turned into premium again

I heard there was this one gas station that accidentally mixed regular gas with diesel gas. Where did you fill?

I forgot the name of the station but i got it on MIddle Coutry Rd out in Centerreach across the road from a diner. It was not a big chain gas station but i was desperate.

Desperation does that to people.

Give them a call and ask if any other customers have complained about the gas?

More incredibly bad advice from the village idiot.

Octane booster won't help if you have water or diesel mixed in the gas.

Underneath your back seat, you have access to the two portals that will give you a view to the tank. If you are comfortable, and understand how to work with gas vapors you will be able to look for water in the gas.

If you are not comfortable with the work, don't attempt it. Working around gas vapors is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

Yeah, in this case pay someone to drain it, and dispose of it.
How many miles on the car? Ever replace the fuel filter?

Village idiot.. he he.....
