So I was under the impression that 05 headlights were a direct swap for the 02 coupe so I ordered a pair and removed one of my old yellow lights to put the new clear light in and after struggling to get the new light in I realize the new lights have a slightly different shape. It looks to me like the only way the new lights would work is with a bumper swap. What's the deal?

My guess, it's that U have aquired the headlights for Sedan/Station and not for the Coupe. See if that's the case:

Yes, it's the sedan light! Thanks for clearing this up with the great photos! I'll have to send them back and be sure to get the coupe lights.

If they're not OEM, don't be suprised if they tell you that they don't make them for the coupe.
