so..so...SO nice!
congrats! I've allready think about XXR's to my w203, but there's no 5x112 option available..good option with the adapters but I have to run 225 40 in front, so it will be too much poke.
if you lower more the front the car will be perfect. yes I know you dont have coilovers, I have the same problem, but i think its possible lower it a bit..

So few months down the road since my last update, I've grown bored of the 230. I love my car but its time to move on.
That being said, I have 10months of the Army left, move back to SD then get my a welcome home for good gift. Say a w211 E55
I can't wait!

Its been over a year that I have updated anything from here lol
So recent news, I've sold my xxrs and bought 03c320's wheel
Specs are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. After making the trip to virginia to purchase his wheels, we put his car on blocks until his new set came in
I also ordered a set of H&R super sport springs to raise the rear up a tad.
A week later after all these years, I finally bought a lip from Gary and install surprisingly was very easy
Here is the shot after it was done
I'm running a 12mm spacer in the front, and 10mm in the rear.
My carbon fiber morello grill is coming this week and I'm ordering the carbon fiber morello spoiler as well.
Then in preparation for Spring Fest 5 up in Virginia beach I'm plasti dipping the face of the wheel vintage gold!

Haven't updated this post in a long time so here it goes again!
My time with the Army ended last week and I had a 2500 mile drive to San Diego, so my buddies flew in from SD to roll with the whole time.
We completed the trip in 2 days so it was non stop driving it out but none the less it was pretty amazing to drive across the country.
Then we blew a rear right tire just outside the Texas state line. Stranded on the side of the highway in bumf*ck no where in Louisiana and past 5pm of course most tires shops are already closed at the time. Swapped on the donut spare and cautiously drove to the nearest available tire shop.
We called up everywhere for some 225/35 19s and no where had it or they had to order it then possibly might or might not be there the next day. Walmart wanted $300 lol, nope!! Last shop we called had 2 tires I was looking so swapped that for $180 and 2hrs later back on the road.
We've had some pretty close experience with the highway patrol in about every state we drove through, thank god for the Valentine One!
Also one of the panels where the foglights popped out during the trip and the hid ballast got ripped out, sigh.
2521 miles later we around at my house in SD and take a front picture of the bugs I've murdered on the trip lol. The picture does no justice, it was gruesome :P

Being home for good, I'm getting ready to hit Wuste for the time!
I plastidipped my wheels Vintage Gold a month or 2 ago an it took a beating on the trip so i painstakingly took all the plastidip off but hand and dip disolver for the lug nut holes and small spots hard to get too and ran a brush to it.
Never going back to that ahah, I chose to have it painted gold instead. I forgot the exact paint name but it was something Beige. Never the less it turned out amazing so keep scrolling down! Also my buddy with an E55 was here to color match his wheels ti his car as well.
Wet sanded the face with 600 grit, used a degreaser spray to get rid of any grimes or dirt, then we hit it with paint adhesion promoter, and then finally we masked our lips and whole wheel up.
Here's a short video when we started laying down the paint.

After multiple coats we let it cured for about 6-7 hours, keep in mind it was a hot and beautiful sunny day today.
Results were amazing! We went out to take some pics by the Seaworld bay !

Yeah I am, the H&r super sports than I replaced the #3 spring pads with #2pads that you can get from the dealer for $28 for a pair.
No I don't, I'm trying to go for the flush look but yeah in the future I will probably snag a kit.
Yeah the wheels were originally matte black when I bought it from 03c320, the color turned out perfect! I forgot what kind of Beige it was though lol

MBWorld Fanatic!
I guess it's the picture. The rears look like they have some camber..I guess it's the pic. Car looks great though. Keep up the good work. Are you still shopping around for an E55? Man those prices fell big time. It's a very affordable fast sedan
