New Benz Owner
hey guys just wanted to introduce my self, i am new to the benz world and just bought my first mercedes about a month ago.i live in Illinois and i bought a 06 c230 sport mars red with only 43,000 miles in mint condition. got a awsome deal on it so couldnt pass it up. love the car so far and its defenitely not the first benz in the family my brother currently owns a 03 s500 and he loves it and he convinced me to get the benz haha. i have alot planned for my car but one thing at a time i do alot of my own work so it shall be fun. i am coming from a audi a4 which got totalled but i have to admit i like the drive of my benz much better. i will post pictures soon and will definetly be looking for advice from everyone.

congrats on the car, good to get the 05+ model, just make sure the previous owner did the cam sensor magnet replacement, thats really the main issue with these cars. Just dont anticipate a speed demon with these cars like some members do and want to add a lot of power adders which is very very seldom. most do a drop in filter, exhaust, and a tune (OETuning and Eurocharged are the main tuners for a reflash).

Only if the previous put them will you have them. Just remove a wheel and see if you do or not. As for springs H&R is most for members here or eibach depending on the height you want. H&R go lowest but since you have the sport you'll want to get some #4 rear spring pads or most cut the front a coil. Avoid tein for the sport because the spring rate is actually softer than OEM and it only lowers ours about 1/2" or less.
