avg is around $90 with a reputable shop...
One place here charges $65, but they only do the front (yes, rear alignment is necessary too)

$50 CDN

That's what I paid for my 405 recently after I changed a worn tie rod end. And that was a PROPER alignment, where both tie rod nuts are loosened, the steering wheel is centred and each wheel is aligned individually.

You can tell a cheap alignment if you get the car back with the steering wheel off-centre. That means they've just adjusted one side of the car, which is an incorrect shortcut.

ok so wait im not sure if even my alignment is off..

the right front tire edge is really worn but i drive my car pretty agressive when i turn right

so if it isnt and i go to my mercedes dealership and they take a look at it and say it is..how do i know there not just ripping me off?

they seemed to be lying about how long it would take at the boundary one how would i know if they would be lying about the whole alignmet itself?

o yah by the way thanks for the help

Take your car to a tire store and have them "CHECK THE ALIGNMENT"....to see if it's your car...or your driving. Most places use laser alignment racks these days. They can check it, show you a print out and you can then base your decision on that.

My dealer charges 1.5 hours for alignment ($150). My local repair shop recommended me to get an alignment from MB because apparently they use weights to simulate passenger load when the do the alignment. Can anybody very this rumor?
