I'm responding to this thread and his question that was asked according to his information in this thread.
You followed me and
You agreed with me and now you are accusing me of not knowing things?
OT has nothing to do with this thread untill you mentioned it, sounds like you skipped school and went straight for the bar ~ rough day?

Robert ~ drop it ~ no alcohol here. Read the thread & it will be obvious where the cam codes came from. Not me.

It doesnt appear in any other threads. Thanks for the advice!

changed the MAF, still runs like crap. 5 codes:

p0300 - random misfire detected
p0302 - misfire cylinder 2
p0305 - misfire cylinder
p2303 - ignition coil "b" primary circuit low
p2305 - ignition coil "e" primary circuit low

Any ideas????????? I've literally changed everything but the computer or ME-SFI.

I've noticed that MAF code is gone. It is possible that you have multiple problems and you are getting closer to the solution

MAF code gone = progress.

Before you thow anymore money at the car I suggest you go back & check everything you have touched including plugs. I also recommend you get the car onto a Star for diagnosis.

If you don't want to put it on a Star we are down to injectors, engine harness, on plug coils or ECU. ECU is extremely unlikely as long as you don't wash your engine with a hose. Check the ECU plug for corrosion. Clean with switch cleaner. I would change plug coils next if you don't use a Star.

EDIT: presume you have basics like the firing order correct although it is very difficult on the M272 to get it wrong.

Im checking around here for an indy that has star as I dont want to take it to the Benz dealer.

About a week before this happened I did the valve cover so I had the fuel rail off and the ecu unplugged (I drove roughly 400 miles after though with no problems). I also did the plugs too. I'll triple check everything but I know the injectors arent leaking and the ecu harness is secure. If I found the solution ill post it here in case anyone else gets the primary circuit low codes.

Please also check the fuel pressure at the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. s/b > than 3.8 bar or 55 psi. I must say however, I'm pretty sure it's electrical/electronic.

Since you had the ecu unplugged, is it possible the one of the pins is loose or backed out from the connector?

Yea I'm thinking the same thing given that the fuel rail is one piece. I also think the battery/alternator warning light isnt just a red herring. Maybe something wrestled loose after a while so ill go work on it when it isnt freezing.

ECU is bad, any advice on where to get a new one? I think the Benz dealership will have to program it right?

If you are sure that the ECU is bad you are going to have to find the best dealer price. ECU's are not generally carried by other suppliers. Yes it will need to be married to your car with a Star. This is going to cost!
