Good Use for Ash Tray

I finally found a good use for the ash tray. If you take it out and put it in the spare tire well, there is enough room in the cubby to hold a small, travel size kleenex and still close the door.

This only works if you put it in the spare tire well?

For fear of re-starting a very old thread:

Some of us have electronic compasses in there!

I don't think the DIY-WB Lambda display I built a few years ago will fit there. I need a smaller project box.

What is Digital A/F?

I only do occasional autocrossing, so I have a bigger need to hold tissue on road trips.

A lambda meter measures the output of an oxygen sensor, and provides an estimate of the air:fuel ratio. The perfect combustion(stoichiometric) air:fuel ratio, which is 14.7:1, has a lambda value of 1.0. The mixture gets richer when the engine is loaded, dropping the lamda value. I think a wideband lambda sensor has a bigger range than a stock oxygen sensor, which is designed just to keep the engine running properly

You have to be pretty devoted to performance tuning to carry one of these things around in your ashtray slot Personally, I'm going to stick with tissue.
