Strong smell of gas in the cabin on hot days?
I'm new to these forums, and I've been having this weird problem lately where if it's around 70-80 degrees outside, I can smell gas in my cabin...it doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, I have to pull all my windows down and it may turn out to be a serious problem? I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

The gas tank is under the rear seat cushion. The top of the tank has two holes you can stick your fist through that hold the fuel pump and tank level sending unit. Of course they are sealed, but the seal may have come loose, or one of the hoses has rotted and allows fumes to be liberated in warmer weather.
Do get it checked at once. The smell of gasoline is a serious safety issue.
