M271 clicking near power steering reservoir

M271 clicking near power steering reservoir
Noticed a clicking noise as my wife was pulling into the garage. Popped the hood and its near the front of the motor on the passenger side, particularly near the power steering reservoir. Checked the fluid level and it was normal. Anyone know what it might be?

No. the clicking can be heard anytime the car is running. I've ruled out an exhaust leak since the noise is coming from the ps reservoir area.

I don't think it is. It's never made this sound and it didn't sound normal. Where is the purge valve located?
